REFLECTIONS

Experience

Overall, it was a nice experience because I could learn so many things from Illustration & Visual Narrative. For example, character design basics, composition theory, 3-act structure, and more. I also got the chance to learn some basic skills of Adobe Illustrator (pen tool, knife tool, colour & blending). 

Observations

After learning this module, I realised that I can understand how cinemagtoraphers frame shots with the composition theory, colour, light, and perspective. 

Findings

The principles and techniques learned through Illustration & Visual Narrative can provide important insights into and supplement the knowledge of cinematography.
