REFLECTIONS

Experience
In general, I continued to experience the same problems as I had in the Design Research Methodology module during Semester 2. Taking on five modules at once was too much for me, and I had a challenging time. I had regular mental breakdowns and felt frustrated with myself a lot. I acknowledge that, particularly in Task 1, I was careless, and given my prior experience with similar situations, I should have better managed my time and workload.

I would like to express my sincere apologies for disappointing my instructor, Ms. Jinchi, once again. However, I truly appreciate her understanding and assistance during this module. She is among the lecturers I hold in the highest regard. My family's constant encouragement and my friends' guidance and assistance while I was lost are further individuals I want to thank. I am now aware of the importance of feedback in my personal development, and I will use all I've learnt here to get better in the future.

Observation
During this module, I observed my work habits, emotional reactions, and progress in learning under pressure. A significant discovery is that I found it quite difficult to balance my workload and manage my time, particularly while handling five modules at once. Procrastination and lack of focus were patterns I observed, especially at the beginning of the project. Stress and dissatisfaction resulted from this, which led to emotional breakdowns and periods of self-doubt.

Findings
I learnt from this experience that self-awareness is necessary for personal development. I came to see that poor time management has an impact on both my productivity and mental health. I discovered how important it is to be more proactive and responsible, particularly in situations that are similar to those I have already faced. I also learnt how important feedback is, whether it comes from friends, lecturers, or simply self-reflection, as it enables me to see my shortcomings and areas for improvement. Above all, I discovered that the key to advancing is commitment, even in the face of huge challenges. Regardless of my mistakes, this module has taught me valuable lessons about self-control, mental toughness, and the value of seeking assistance when necessary.
