Extra Exercise - The Bézier Game
Mr Fauzi encouraged us to play The Bézier Game, this game helps us to understand how the pen tool works in Adobe Illustrator. I finished the introduction parts and 2 more stages from the game.

Compositing Digital Collage
Instructions:
- Create 3 different composition digital collages from the images that you’ve downloaded.
- Create A4 canvas size (vertical) in Photoshop and start to do the compositions.
Process:
Before I started to sketch out the ideas, I found some inspiration from Pinterest.
Then, I sketched out some rough ideas by using the app, Ibis Paint X in my tablet and hand sketches in my notebook.
After that, I decided to choose the three hand sketches as my digital compositions.
COMPOSITION #1
Description: I decided to give a ‘clear’ look to the viewers with this composition. I’ve learned how to use the pen tool, remove the background to extract the object, shape out the image with a rectangular marquee tool, and more. The concept of this composition is ‘glitch’, which is inspired by ‘WandaVision’ (TV Mini-Series 2021). I changed the texture (circle, below left) into hue, the rubber plant into luminosity, and the texture (circle, top left) into darker colour while exploring the tools.
Figure E3.7: Composition 2, Week 3 (10/10/2023)
Description: The concept of this composition is ‘another dimension', which is inspired by 'Hyakki Yagyō' (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, which refers to a parade of thousands of supernatural creatures that march through the streets of Japan at night). The fish is the main subject of this composition because I want the fish to be referred to as the mysterious creature in this dimension, which is surrounded by buildings and a red moon on the top right. As you can see, I have applied two frames to this composition because the fish is breaking the fourth wall. I cut out the rectangular shape in the middle of the texture image (frame), and then I duplicated it to make it smaller. Besides that, I used a pen tool to trace the building (below right). In addition, I shaped out the red moon (circle texture, top right) with a rectangular marquee tool.
