Title: CONNECT
Music: Happy Footsteps by Purple Planet Music
Artist Statement: As I mentioned before, my work is about harmony, making the audience feel connected to one another. The concept is to bring people together by encouraging empathy and understanding, bringing diverse people together in a moment of connection and respect, and reminding people of our common humanity. The word "CONNECT" is about continuing to develop interactions, ideas, and understanding. It looks simple to understand, everything is connected such as humans, animals, cultures, history, and more. I hope that people will recognize the richness in our differences and recognise the greatness of our shared humanity. In my point of view, my poster is about more than just making art; it is about building bridges between people, cultures, and ideas.
REFLECTIONS
Experience
This is my first time using After Effects, it was quite hard to use at the first time. Although I've rewatched the tutorial video provided by Mr Fauzi, I still get lost the halfway. Yet, this assignment was quite fun to do because I can express my feelings now through the simple animation, which was chaos. For the final project, it would be nice if the three modules (IVN, DPI & TYPO) had the same instructions for this final project because I was really confused about the requirements.
Observations
I realised the keyframes part was quite confusing for me. For example, I created the keyframes for the position of the object, and that was no problem at all; when I created another keyframes for the same position and the object, the keyframes from the previous position were duplicated. Maybe I clicked it wrongly on that.
Findings
Although the keyframe part was solved, yet I think I need to be more cautious and focus on each step properly.
